About us
The Scottish Legal Aid Board (SLAB) was set up in 1987 to manage legal aid in Scotland. We are a non-departmental public body responsible to the Scottish Government. Our main purpose is to manage and continuously improve publicly funded legal assistance and to advise Scottish Ministers on its strategic development for the benefit of society.

The Civil Legal Assistance Office (CLAO) was established in its current form in 2008. The service operates through a mix of casework; referral to other providers of legal assistance and support; second tier support to other providers (including training); and partnership/development project working with local and national organisations operating in the defined geographical areas.

About the role
Reporting to the Network and Systems Coordinator, you will provide an efficient reception and administrative service within the business support function of Client Legal Services.

This post is full time for a 9-month fixed term contract.
